Whitewall: Inside Chanel The Making of the 11.12 Handbag
A quiet glimpse inside the luminous ateliers of Verneuil-en-Halatte, just beyond Paris, where Chanel’s iconic 11.12 bag takes shape. A Whitewall exclusive, this film offers rare access to the making of what’s often called the “couturière’s bag”a timeless piece that embodies precision and legacy.
Crafted over six weeks by 15 artisans and through 180 meticulous steps, the 11.12 is a masterclass in savoir-faire. From hand-selected lambskin to the signature interwoven chain strap, every detail reflects Chanel’s couture-informed language of craftsmanship.
More than just a handbag, the 11.12 is a ritual. Quilting, cutting, and stitching become acts of devotion—fashion, heritage, and artistry converging in one iconic silhouette. It doesn’t just complete a look it carries meaning. Watch Film here.

Sara Walker X Reformation
A huge congratulations to my friend Sara Walker on the launch of her “Sara” dress with Reformation one effortlessly chic silhouette in three stunning colorways: zebra (fittingly named “Stampede”), soft Parmesan, and a sun-drenched Nectarine.
To celebrate, a dreamy lunch was held at the Chateau Marmont where every guest wore the Sara dress a sea of effortless elegance in three distinct shades. Choosing a color was no easy feat; I was torn between the zebra and a burst of orange, but in the end, zebra felt like the one. I went with a size 2, and a gentle note for anyone curious: the back is smocked, which I truly appreciate it adds just the right amount of movement and ease.
Persona mascara
Thrilled to report that Persona mascara has finally arrived I've been waiting for this one. Three years in the making, and it delivers: light, buildable, and best of all, no smudging under the eyes.
Silver Streak
Happy that this silver streak is continuing and now layers of it feel necessary.
A good friend and I were chatting, and I joked, “I’m wearing so much silver I could pass for an art teacher.” He replied, “I think we had very different art teachers.” Regardless whether yours layered jewelry like a walking installation or not we all know that one creative type who wore the necklace, the matching earrings, and every ring they owned. When I was back home in Texas, I just so happened to bring back a few treasures… but I’ll save that for another Sub.
